EUSR SHEA Power (CSCS) - One day

All EUSR SHEA courses from 1st October will not automatically be issued with a CSCS Logo as directed by the awarding body.

There will be a choice between:

  1. No CSCS Just SHEA in the category required £ 180 plus VAT

  2. A green banded generic CSCS in the category required at additional nominal cost £ 20 PLUS vat

or

  1. An approved trade related CSCS (additional certification would be required to be presented to the awarding body if this option is required i.e Mainlayer Service layer Jointer etc... Depending on the industry at an additional Nominal cost £ 20 plus VAT.

If you attend and pass SHEA prior to 1st October, the CSCS element will last for the duration of the SHEA qualification.

Description

SHEA Power is a one day Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness scheme for those working on operational sites and is a CSCS Alliance scheme.

It is developed in collaboration with employers and key stakeholders from across the industries in our sector, so the content is relevant – all helping to improve the safety of the workforce and reduce costs associated with injury, illness or accidents.

Modules

The SHEA Power programme consists of the following 8 modules:

Module 2: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
Module 3: Identifying and controlling risks
Module 4: Common hazards and controls in the workplace
Module 5: Occupational health hazards
Module 6: Responding to emergencies
Module 7: Power generation, transmission and distribution
Module 8: Power industry hazards
