Description
Our 3 day First Aid at Work Level 3 course will qualify delegates to the highest level of first aid; meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety First Aid Regulations 1981 and catering for those organisations required to demonstrate qualified first aid provision. This First Aid course is delivered, certified and accredited by NUCO Training from our Bristol Site.
No previous medical/first aid knowledge is required to undertake this course, but delegates should be medically fit to carry out the techniques required.
Has a maximum class size of 8 delegates and covers both theory and practical elements. This course is delivered, certified and accredited by NUCO Training. All successful delegates will be issued with a NUCO Training Certificate; valid for 3 years.

- The Law relating to First Aid
- Unconsciousness (including seizure)
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Choking, shock, wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries
- Bone, spinal and muscle/joint injuries
- Chest Injuries
- Burns and scalds
- Eye injuries
- Poisoning
- Prophylactic shock
- Major head injuries
- Stroke and heart attack
- Epilepsy, asthma and diabetes
- Written Assessment
