The role of the fire warden or marshal in the workplace is critical to keep people and property safe from the danger and consequences of fire. Training is in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
This interactive course develops the knowledge, and understanding of fire safety, associated legislation, and the roles and responsibilities of their duties as Fire Warden or Marshal.
This training is essential for anyone whose role is work as a fire warden or marshal.
Delegates will review legal requirements, ensure safety compliance, and understand procedures, appropriate documentation and classifications.

- Legal obligations and responsibilities of the employer and employee
- The nature of fire, flame spread, and extinction
- How to reduce the risk of fire
- Understanding means of escape from fire
- What to do in the event of a fire
- The selection and safe use of fire extinguishers
- The role of the Fire Warden/Marshal
At the end of the training, successful delegates will have an understanding of fire safety, fire prevention and the role of the Fire Warden or Marshal.
On successful completion of the course, delegates receive their Fire Warden Marshal Certificate valid for three years.
